Laurence Scott & Electromotors Ltd, (LS) was delighted with their success at this year’s Drives & Controls’ Exhibition, held at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC), in May.

The three-day exhibition proved extremely valuable, as numerous corporate representatives expressed pleasure that LS continues the manufacturing of innovative and specialized Power Transmission Products, (PTP), and Control Gear technology. LS’s products are historically recognized for maintaining superior standards of performance, and reliability. Many visitors suggested that they not only look forward to maintaining current relationships, but also developing opportunities for future partnerships.

The Drives and Controls Exhibition featured demonstrations of the RotaStep, one of the products in the Precision Step Systems line. It also included static cutaway models of Tasc Unit 90TR (Eddy current variable speed drive) , and two well-known Neco geared motor products.

LS representatives from the Power Transmission Products, (PTP) sales team, Roger Allen, and Des Horne staffed the exhibition for the three days. Chris Summers the engineer responsible for the PTP product line also joined the team. Representatives from Industrial Clutch Parts Ltd, the UK distributor for the Precision Step Systems products, assisted the group.

The new CEO & Chairman of the Laurence Scott Corporation, George Clair, visited the stand on Wednesday, in the company of Mr. Kevin Moden (see photo). Both expressed their delight at the success of the exhibition and look forward to future LS exhibitions.
